Preamble: As a prerequisite of employment & entries for any reason in the Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bangladeshi nationals are required to be examined and issued a Medical Fitness Certificate.
Such Bangladeshi workers / job seekers shall have to take a medical examination slip from GAMCA who distributes the passengers equally amongst the Medical Centers accredited by the Executive Board of the Health Ministers' Council for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States.
GAMCA (GCC approved medical centres association), an association of medical centres, controls all medical centres under GAMCA and ensures strict compliance of rules, regulations & instructions issued from GCC HQ from time to time by all the medical centres, and also ensures that the health examination certificates are issued only by the member centres. GAMCA fulfils the requirement of GCC HQ regarding the health exam of passengers through its member medical centres.
